module
module is a 4-week reading, discussion, and writing workshop. Each module focuses on one keyword that will be fleshed out and constellated across practices, thinkers, and disciplines. The first 3 weeks of each module will be devoted to directed readings and discussions that will be moderated by practitioners from different disciplines. The 4th week will be an assembly—part-symposium, part-PowerPoint party, part-casual hangout—where participants can share (formally and informally) what they found interesting from the sessions.
Starts March 2026
The contingent, in a word, is something that finally happens—something other, something which, in its irreducibility to all pre-registered possibilities, puts an end to the vanity of a game wherein everything, even the improbable, is predictable
— Quentin Meillassoux, After Finitude: An Essay on the Necessity of Contingency, translated by Ray Brassier (2008; London: Continuum, 2011).
